Job Title: Citizen’s Engagement Officer
Location: Ikota Shopping Complex, Victoria Garden City (VGC) – Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and internet-savvy individual to fill the role of Citizen’s Desk Officer.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our citizen’s desk, providing information and support to citizens, and serving as the face of the organization on social media.
- The ideal candidate should be passionate about women’s rights and inheritance issues in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilitie
- Manage the citizen’s desk, responding to queries and concerns from citizens
- Provide information and support to citizens on property rights and inheritance issues
- Develop and implement social media strategies to engage citizens and promote the organization’s work
- Create and curate content for social media platforms
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize engagement
- Collaborate with program staff to develop citizen-centric programs and services
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including citizens, partners, and government agencies
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and document management
- Use MS Office suites, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, documents, and presentations
- Must reside within Ikota and environs
- Must be female for gender balance
- Must be available to resume immediately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Social Sciences, Communications)
- Proficiency in MS Office suites, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent internet skills and social media savvy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Passion for women’s rights and inheritance issues
- Experience in a similar role or working with NGOs would be an added advantage.
