Search for Common Ground (SFCG), a renowned international non-profit organization, is seeking a skilled Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join its team in Abuja, Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting The Hustle, an innovative reality TV show designed to showcase the entrepreneurial capabilities and social contributions of young people in North-West Nigeria.
About The Hustle Project
The Hustle is a youth focused reality TV show funded by the European Union, aiming to reshape perceptions of young people in North-West Nigeria by highlighting their positive contributions to society. The show will be broadcast on national television and digital platforms, providing a platform for youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy for The Hustle TV show
– Lead content planning and production of multimedia promotional materials
– Manage social media strategy and execution, ensuring regular engagement and performance tracking
– Coordinate media relations and public engagement activities
– Ensure strong branding and visual identity across platforms and materials
– Collaborate with production and field teams to ensure accurate and inspiring storytelling
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
– At least 5 years of progressive experience in communications and marketing
– Demonstrated experience managing multi-platform campaigns
– Proven skills in brand development, media engagement, and public relations
– Experience working with production teams in high-profile or public-facing initiatives is an advantage
