This year’s theme is: “Youth-Led Innovations for a Sustainable Cassava Future.” The competition presents an incredible opportunity for nationwide recognition, access to funding, and tailored business development support. Proudly sponsored by Agbeyewa Farms, this initiative aims to empower Nigerian youth to drive real change in the cassava industry.
🌱 Focus Areas
Entries should align with one or more of the following areas:
- Production innovations that increase yield and reduce labor intensity.
- Technology solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce energy use, or lead to new cassava-based products.
- Market-driven approaches that connect actors in the value chain, increase consumer demand, or boost awareness.

- 🥈 2nd Place: ₦1,000,000
- 🥉 3rd Place: ₦800,000
- 4th Place: ₦700,000

✅ Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Be a Nigerian youth between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be available to attend the World Cassava Day event in Abuja on June 28, 2025, to pitch live if selected.
- Submit an original innovation that addresses a real challenge within Nigeria’s cassava value chain.
- Present solutions that are practical, scalable, and technology-driven, or rooted in community and cultural contexts to unlock the full potential of cassava for people, profit, and the planet.
