The Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS), one of Nigeria’s most reputable indigenous non-governmental organizations, is recruiting Data Support Officers for different locations in Lagos State – Apapa, Agege, Surulere .etc

Over the years, ECEWS has partnered with prestigious international and local organizations such as USAID, US CDC, The Global Fund, UNOPS, World Bank, and the Federal Government of Nigeria to deliver high-impact programs in health, education, and livelihoods.
Role Overview
The Data Support Officer will be responsible for collecting, verifying, entering, and managing program data to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. The role is central to monitoring and evaluation processes, enabling the organization to track performance, identify gaps, and make informed program decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, collate, and input program data from service delivery points into designated databases.
- Conduct routine data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update program data in compliance with donor and organizational reporting timelines.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Provide technical assistance to facility staff on the use of data collection tools and software.
- Support the Monitoring & Evaluation team in analyzing data for program improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Social Sciences, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data management, preferably in health or development programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with health information systems (e.g., DHIS2, LAMIS) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
