Dev-Afrique Development Advisors is now accepting applications for its six-month fellowship program in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WSH) and Public Data Systems. This prestigious opportunity is designed for experienced professionals passionate about consulting, research, and social impact in Africa.
Fellows will collaborate with a diverse team of strategists, researchers, and practitioners to design and implement evidence-based solutions that tackle pressing socio-economic challenges across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Dev-Afrique Development Advisors is an African-led, Africa-based social impact and strategy firm dedicated to driving sustainable development across the continent. Fellowship Summary
- Duration: 6 months
- Commitment: ~80 hours per month
- Work Mode: Hybrid (in-country collaboration where needed)
- Location: Open to applicants in Nigeria, DRC, and Kenya
This fellowship offers hands-on consulting and research experience, allowing fellows to address real-world challenges and build impactful development strategies.
Fellowship Responsibilities
Selected fellows will:
- Conduct research and analysis on WSH systems and public data access.
- Collaborate with the Dev-Afrique team to design, implement, and evaluate development projects.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead an independent high-level project aligned with their expertise and Dev-Afrique’s mission.
- Apply data tools (Excel, Power BI, GIS, etc.) to analyze public datasets and inform decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Economics, Political Science, Public Health, Sustainability, or related fields (a postgraduate degree is an advantage).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in research, data systems, or development strategy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with research and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, GIS).
- Demonstrated interest or background in WSH, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Sector Analytics, or Development Policy.
- Prior experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or donor-funded programs is highly desirable.
