Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2026, candidates must:

  • Be a citizen of Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, or South Africa.
  • Commit to returning to their home country after the fellowship.
  • Hold a university degree equivalent to a UK second-class honours degree or have equivalent professional experience.
  • Have at least five years of work experience in the cultural or creative sector.
  • Demonstrate strong English communication skills.
  • Not hold British or dual-British citizenship.
  • Not be employed by or related to staff of His Majesty’s Government, the British Council, or associated organizations within the last two years.
