This role is pivotal in strengthening health systems across the Kano Cluster, including Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, and Bauchi states.
Role Overview
- Position: Senior Program Manager
- Organization: KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation
- Location: Kano, Nigeria (Covering 4 states)
- Required Experience: 8–10 Years
- Reporting to: Project Director (TB LON 1&2)
Key Responsibilities: Leading TB LON Regions 1 & 2
The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation of the Tuberculosis Local Organizations Network (TB LON) project. Your core duties will involve:
- Regional Coordination: Lead the implementation plan and monitoring for project activities across Northern Nigeria.
- Technical Oversight: Provide high-level guidance to Senior Program Officers and TB Advisors to ensure clinical and programmatic excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between KNCV, the State TB Control Programs, civil society groups, and international development partners.
- M&E Rigor: Support a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system to track intervention success and financial compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure all project expenditures and activities align with USG (U.S. Government) finance policies and award conditions.
Requirements & Qualifications
KNCV is looking for a self motivated leader with a proven track record in global health.
1. Educational Background
- Minimum Requirement: MBBS (Medical Degree).
- Advanced Degree: MPH or a Master’s degree in a relevant Public Health discipline.
2. Professional Experience
- 8 to 10 years of active experience working with TB and HIV programs.
- Prior experience managing USG (USAID) or UN-funded projects is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex health projects under strict deadlines.
3. Essential Skills
- Exceptional coordination, supervisory, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to translate complex medical data into concise, accessible reports for stakeholders.
- High precision in operational plan development and evaluation.
