This is a senior level opportunity to lead medical teams in an Inpatient Therapeutic Feeding Center (ITFC), managing complex medical cases and driving clinical excellence in one of Nigeria’s most critical health zones.

Core Responsibilities: Leading Medical Excellence
As the Medical Activity Manager, you are the technical heartbeat of the project. Your role involves:
- Clinical Leadership: Supervise a team of medical doctors in the ITFC, ensuring every patient receives care that meets MSF and international protocols for severe acute malnutrition.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the annual project planning and budget, ensuring that medical objectives are met and resources are used rationally.
- Quality Assurance & Audits: Conduct regular mortality and clinical audits to improve patient safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and overall cure rates.
- Pharmacy & Resource Management: Oversee pharmacy stocks to prevent shortages and ensure the correct use of medical devices and life-saving drugs.
- Data Driven Impact: Analyze medical statistics and performance indicators (default rates, mortality trends) to create tangible action plans for service improvement.
- Team Development: Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of your medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high-quality care.
Kebbi State faces significant health challenges, particularly regarding food security and maternal-child health. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the fight against malnutrition. By integrating mental health support for caregivers and strictly implementing Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards, you will help create a holistic healing environment for the most vulnerable populations.

Qualifications & Skills
MSF is looking for a leader who can balance clinical expertise with administrative management.
- Medical Degree: A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing medical activities, specifically in nutrition or emergency contexts, is highly preferred.
- Management Skills: Ability to coordinate diverse teams, manage rosters, and lead during high-pressure situations.
- Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing medical data and writing professional SitReps (Situation Reports).
- Regulatory Compliance: Possession of a valid practicing license and NYSC Discharge/Exemption certificate.
