The Role: Leading Humanitarian Operations
As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be the bridge between technical planning and field execution. Your primary focus will be maintaining MSF standards across all physical assets and supporting the growth of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Facility Management: Perform daily inspections of MSF premises. You will oversee minor building rehabilitations and ensure that all facilities meet strict security and safety norms.
- Fleet Leadership: You will be responsible for the preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles. This includes monitoring driver habits, fuel consumption, and technical standard checks.
- Technical Support & Training: A core part of this role is building capacity. You will provide on-the-job coaching to the Log Base staff and drivers, ensuring everyone is proficient in MSF tools and protocols.
- Energy & Equipment Oversight: Work with the line manager to plan maintenance for energy systems (generators/solar) and non-medical stocks to ensure zero downtime for medical activities.
- Aviation Logistics: Serve as the focal point for domestic flight follow-ups, managing schedules and communicating changes to the relevant departments.

Requirements
MSF is looking for a proactive professional with a solid technical background and the ability to lead under pressure.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil), or Facilities Management.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics or maintenance. Previous experience with an International NGO (INGO) or in a humanitarian context is highly essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a team, create duty rosters, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Igbo is essential for effective communication within the Anambra mission.
- Technical Literacy: Strong computer skills and experience using radio communication equipment.
