The Melton Foundation has officially opened applications for its flagship initiative, the Global Solvers Accelerator 2026. This dynamic eight-month leadership and impact-development programme is designed for emerging social entrepreneurs, grassroots SDG advocates and next-generation changemakers from around the world.
Why this opportunity matters
Since its launch in 2020, the Global Solvers Accelerator has supported over 70 social-impact practitioners from 25 countries all working to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This programme is rooted in the idea that lasting change begins at the grassroots level and is multiplied through global collaboration, innovation and leadership.
Programme overview
The Global Solvers Accelerator 2026 blends virtual and in-person learning to accelerate your leadership and impact:
- March–November 2026 (Core Phase): Eight thematic modules, peer-learning groups, project-based assignments.
- In-Person Co-Lab: Week-long, fully-sponsored gathering in Accra, Ghana (tentative dates: 19–26 July 2026) bringing together participants, mentors and experts for co-creation and deep collaboration.
- Ongoing Mentorship & Community: Participants receive online self-paced modules, group exchanges and expert guidance.
- Fellowship Induction: Graduates become Senior Melton Fellows, joining a global network of leaders committed to lifelong collaboration.
Who should apply
This accelerator is open to young impact-leaders aged 20-35 who:
- Are actively engaged in or leading a social-impact initiative or SDG-focused project.
- Demonstrate curiosity, commitment and forward-thinking leadership.
- Have a proven record of community engagement or social innovation.
- Are eager to connect globally and deepen their understanding of sustainable-development challenges.
