JOB SUMMARY:
- The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and contributing to financial strategy and planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor bank transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing of tax and statutory obligations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Contribute to financial risk management strategies
