The North-West Development Commission (NWDC), established by the NWDC Act, 2024 signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is committed to driving development, growth, and infrastructure enhancement in the North-West region.
To further this mission, the Commission is pleased to announce the opening of applications for 2025/2026 NWDC 2025 Undergraduate & Postgraduate Foreign Scholarship Programme.
The NWDC Scholarship 2025 seeks to foster academic excellence and empower exceptional individuals from the North-West region to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at reputable foreign universities.
Requirements for North West Development Commission Scholarship
To be considered for the North West Development Commission Scholarship, you must:
- Be an indigene of the North-West States (Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, & Zamfara)
- Have Distinction in 3 O’Level core science subjects and 5 credits in other subjects (in not more than 2 sittings).
- Have a CGPA of 3.8 and above.
- Possess a minimum of 4.0/5.0 CGPA in Master’s Degree.
- Not exceed 22 years for Undergraduate, 35 years for Master’s, and 40 years for PhD at the time of application.
