University of Montreal UdeM Exemption Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the 2025 University of Montreal UdeM Exemption Scholarship, you must:
1 . Be an international student who;
hold a study permit and who are neither permanent residents nor Canadian citizens.
2. will be enrolled full-time in a study program throughout their studies.
3. will not benefit from another form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure. For example, French and Belgian Francophone students already benefit from this type of exemption.

Undergraduate Students :
Level A: $13,740.60 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $6,870.30 per session (15 credits)
Level B: $6,548.40 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $3,274.20 per session (15 credits)
These amounts are applied to tuition fees of $25,567.80 per year (30 credits).
Master Students:
Non-research : $10,788.75 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $3,596.25 per session
Research : $15,150.00 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $5,050.00 per session (equivalent to 15 credits)
This amount is applied to tuition fees of $29,084.40 per year (45 credits).
PhD Students :
$22,908.60 per year (3 sessions, equivalent to 45 credits) or $7,636.20 per session (equivalent to 15 credits).
This amount is applied to the tuition fees of $29,788.60 per year (45 credits).
