Taimako Community Development Initiative (TCDI) is one of the frontline National Non-governmental organizations working in Bauchi, Borno and Yobe States with over a decade experience in providing humanitarian and development services in the North East Nigeria. It has partnered with numerous government agencies, National and International NGOs as well as UN Agencies in the design, planning, implementation, and supervision of programmes and activities aimed at improving the lives of rural and urban communities.
The organization has footprints across the focal states and has been engaging with communities through its network of field workers and volunteers. TCDI was established in 2008 and registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C.), Abuja on 23rd May 2014 with registration number IT/69569 and other regulatory bodies in the focal states.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Assistant
Locations: Machina and Nguru, Yobe

Job Description
- Install and configure new computer hardware for improving and upgrading system performance; support any technology upgrades as required.
- To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
- Conduct data collection and entry of beneficiaries and other related data
- Develop technical skills and knowledge through training to members of staff.
- Carry-out system and equipment maintenance tasks, such as backup system data and system Nutrition, to ensure they are running effectively and enable easy and efficient use.
- Receive and inspect all ICT incoming assets for TCDI and or partners.
- Ensure information is up to date and accurate within inventories, databases, websites, and archives to ensure systems efficiency.
- With direction from senior colleagues, collate information to be participants’ attendance after activities like training, distribution, etc., and make them available in due course.
- Respond to queries, understand and resolve issues, and ensure technology policies, procedures, systems, and tools are accurately applied to support staff.
- Support the capacity building of staff through the organization and/or review of training programs aimed at developing skills/knowledge.
- To act as the first point of contact for any safeguarding, child, and adult Nutrition concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice
- Perform other ICT or non-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should possessB.Sc Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
