The Role: Job Summary
The State TB / HIV Cascade Monitor is the backbone of our M&E operations for integrated community services. You will oversee data management, ensure case-finding accuracy, and turn complex health data into actionable insights to meet project targets and improve community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Coordinate M&E activities for TB/HIV community services and ensure active TB case finding.
- Data Systems: Establish and maintain robust data collection, analysis, and reporting systems aligned with Global Fund requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor state-level data collectors and build capacity for state data officers.
- Quality Assurance: Lead data quality audits and ensure timely corrective actions for any discrepancies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with State Technical Officers, government agencies, and donors to align reporting frameworks.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive performance reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Demography, Public Health, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or an advanced certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in M&E within public health.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Stata, or SPSS.
- Expertise in digital/mobile data collection platforms and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Strong background in Global Fund (GF) projects is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to design logical frameworks and impact evaluation methodologies.
